  2. This is the third release of TaskFilters (v 1.12) which has now taken over
  3. the functionality of !PinFilter, its companion application.  This results
  4. in an overall saving in memory due to shared code for people using filters
  5. from both the old applications.
  6.  
  7. The significant new features are:
  8.  
  9.   * A window iconise icon for all desktop windows that would normally be
  10.     iconisable (plus two other new ways of iconising a window without the
  11.     keyboard),
  12.  
  13.   * Configurable expiry times for files in both the waste basket and PinFilter
  14.     temporary directory,
  15.  
  16.   * A filter to prevent Pinboard acknowledging Message_WindowClosed,
  17.  
  18.   * Instant-effect configuration of the module (SELECT on the switcher icon
  19.     while holding down either Alt key to open the configuration dialogue).

  23. Also included (in the directory PinDir) is a neat little utility by
  24. Gert-Jan de Vos (devos@eb.ele.tue.nl), which when suitably called from your
  25. boot sequence can be used to restore any items in PinFilter:Temp to the
  26. backdrop.
